What You Should Know for the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival (June 15-17, 2018):
1. Where can I get a map of the Festival grounds?
Printed maps with full stage schedules, lists of vendors and all other event details will be available at the gates. Additionally, a downloadable version of the map will be available soon.
2. Is there an admission fee for the Festival?
There is a nominal admission fee for the Festival, which is located at 117 Mill St. in Gahanna OH 43230. The admission fee includes access to five stages featuring 90+ total hours of outstanding live music, the Family Fun Zone, as well as access to quality artisans and festival food! The event is family-focused and in turn, children under 12, and military personnel (with a military ID) will be admitted free. The Festival offers FREE admission on Sunday between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., for each person who donates a non-expired, non-perishable food item. Donations benefit GRIN (Gahanna Residents in Need). General Admission pricing is below:
Friday: $7 per person (5-11 pm)
Saturday: $10 per person (11 am-11 pm)
Sunday: $7 per person (12-6 pm)
WEEKEND PASS: $15 pp - Early Bird Pass (when purchased online, before May 1)
$18 pp - Online (when purchased online, May 1-June 7)
$21 per person (June 8 - at the gate)
VIP PACKAGES: Treat yourself, your family/friends or clients to a VIP experience with parking, shuttle, reserved seating, a SWAG Bag and more.
2. What are the Festival hours and where is it located?
5-11 pm Friday (June 15); 11 am-11 pm Saturday (June 16); and 12-6 pm Sunday (June 17). The festival is located at: 117 Mill St. in Gahanna OH 43230.
3. Can I exit and re-enter the Festival later in the day?
Yes. Same day re-entry to the Festival is available for attendees wearing that day’s accepted admission wristband.
4. Can I bring a cooler?
No. Outside coolers are NOT permitted inside the entrance gates. Beer, soft drinks and water are now available for purchase throughout the main Festival area.
5. Are pets allowed at the Festival?
No. Although we LOVE our pets (many of us have them)... because of limited space and large crowds, people will NOT be able to bring dogs and other pets into the Festival this year, other than working service dogs.

7. Is the event accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes. The Festival offers handicap-accessible shuttles at the Free Park & Ride shuttle located at AEP. Limited handicap parking also is available in the Creekside Garage (rate of $5 per car).
Although the Festival primarily is located on the streets of downtown Gahanna, some festival offerings are located in Creekside Park as well as in VFW Memorial Park. Keep in mind that these areas will include some grassy areas and inclines, though the areas are accessible via sidewalks, streets and paved trails.
8. Are there activities for children?
Plenty of fun for kids will be offered at the Family Fun Zone on Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, located near the Amusement area, on the south side of the Granville Street. Kids can enjoy “make it and take it” arts and crafts, try out a musical instrument, and have fun with games and activities offered by local businesses. Don’t forget to also check out the Musical Discovery Zone Stage – a great place for children to learn about music. The MDZ Stage features hands-on musical activities on Saturday with Jazz For Kids. Children interact with the musicians and gain basic knowledge of musical instruments. Visitors do not have to pay admission to the Festival to enjoy the activities in the Family Fun Zone.
Amusement rides are also available throughout the weekend at VFW Memorial Park (south of Granville St.). Wristbands are available for purchase in the amusement area.
Paddleboat rides will be available at the Creekside Marina. Cost is $5 per 30 minute ride. Paddleboat hours: Friday, 5 pm-8 pm; Saturday 12-8 pm; Sunday, 12-6 pm. **This is a separate charge from the amusement ride wrist band fee (not included).
9. Are there ATMs available?
Yes, there is a permanent ATM onsite at Creekside Plaza and four temporary ATMs located throughout the Festival: inside the North Mill St. admission gate; inside the South Mill St. admission gate; inside the High St. admission gate; and in the Family Fun Zone (south of Granville St., VFW Memorial Park).

12. Any tips on preparation for a day at the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival?
The summer weather in central Ohio can range from pleasantly warm to sunny and hot. Therefore, cool, unrestrictive clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended. A hat with a wide brim or visor is also a good idea. Wear comfortable shoes, as you may be doing a lot of walking and remember to stay hydrated. Beverages are available for purchase throughout the event.
13. Can I bring a chair?
Yes. Although hard-covered folding chairs are provided at each stage, you are welcome to bring your own folding chair. No umbrellas please.
